Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  4. Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the cherries, and if using frozen cherries, coat them lightly in flour before adding.
  6. Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling them almost full.
  7. If desired, sprinkle brown sugar and oats on top.
  8. Bake for about 22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
