- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt for the brownie batter.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and add eggs for the cookie layer.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients for the cookie layer and fold in chocolate chips.
- Layer the brownie batter in the pan, then drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Chill the cookie dough for 10 minutes before using to prevent spreading. Don’t overbake for fudgy texture.
