  • 12 tablespoons milk or water (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Cream softened butter with maple syrup and granulated sugar until smooth.
  2. Add flour, salt, and vanilla, then mix until just combined.
  3. Roll or press dough onto a parchment-lined tray and cut into shapes or score into squares.
  4. Bake until edges are golden, being careful not to overbake.
  5. Allow cookies to cool completely before glazing.
  6. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with maple syrup and milk or water to achieve desired consistency.
  7. Spoon glaze over cookies and let set before serving.
