Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5–7 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook until soft and browned.

  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Stir in cream, chicken broth, and thyme. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Return chicken to the pan and coat with the creamy mushroom sauce. Simmer for 2–3 more minutes.

 

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
