Description

Quick and easy chocolate-peanut butter cookies that require no baking, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats (old-fashioned or quick)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Coconut or crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa.
  2. Heat on medium while stirring constantly until it reaches a boil.
  3. Boil for one minute, then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Add oats and any extras, mixing until coated.
  6. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper or silicone mats and allow to cool.
  7. For quicker setting, place in the fridge.

Notes

If cookies are too dry, they may not have boiled long enough. Humidity can affect setting; freeze for a frosty treat.
